What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to help them work and to measure how visitors use them.
What cookies we use
Scotland Energy Help uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate, anonymous traffic to the site — how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they're from. This helps us improve the site.
These analytics cookies do not identify you personally. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before being processed.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies. We don't run ads on this site.
- No third-party tracking pixels (e.g. Facebook Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn Insight).
- No remarketing or audience-building cookies.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect your ability to use the site or submit the eligibility checker.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
